چکیده

Air quality index (AQI) also known as air pollution (API) is the way of describing ambient to assess health risk associated with pollution. With advent time, there have been several indexing systems starting from first Quality Index developed in 1966 by Marvin H. Green and various modifications made ever since improve accuracy measurement. Such can factors like concentration different pollutants or empirically established formulas based on past experiences. In this review article, an effort has chronologically evaluate AQI system across world 2021. Every its own unique method for determination each merits demerits. This pape rcovers parameters, empirical relationships, standards, merits, demerits, which hind sight will help develop amalgamation that be used a standard monitoring air. paper covers prevail India. A fuzzy logic very helpful handling uncertainty assessment. So, fuzzy-based 2010 2017 reviewed. The articles results obtained through fuzzybased aremore reliable than other methods. Out all above methods, synthetic evaluation-based (FAQHI) are more powerful tools describe quality. But till 2017, thereis no development logic, considering PM2.5 one pollutants. need pollutant
